Sometime after the decision was made by McCartney to raise the key of the song up by nearly one semitone from C major to Db major. This demonstration was performed in the key the song was originally recorded. THE BASS PART: McCartney used his 1964 Rickenbacker 4001s. Theres nothing too crazy going on. The only thing I found to be worth mentioning was at 1:45 where instead of going straight into the note he does a pickup (+ 1) into it and continues the line as normal. This does not occur in the first bridge. THE GUITARS: The volume of both guitars have been brought up for clarity in this demonstration Lennon and Harrison both played (I assume) their 1965 Epiphone Casinos. One guitar essentially mimics the bass. This same guitar does some sporadic fills played in octaves in the bridges. These dont really show up in the final mix but are audible in the master tapes.
