Memphis vroeg daarom bevriende raplegende Winne en producer Rass King om hem hierin bij te staan. Voor de clip zijn de mannen samen met videomakers ‘Since 88’ afgereisd naar het Afrikaanse land. Daar bezochten ze projecten voor blinde en dove kinderen en investeerden in sport en educatie van deze kinderen door donaties en opleidingen. In de clip van ‘Akwaaba’ is onder meer een Ghanees blind kinderkoor te zien. Een Nederlands kinderkoor leverde ook een bijdrage aan het initiatief van Memphis.
